If you get the urge to clear some clutter, remember to donate your good quality used books and new or collectible magazines the Friends.

Just bring your books to the first floor of the Library and deposit them in the large containers inside the library labeled for donations (not the "free" bin out in the hallway).

If you would like a receipt for tax or other purposes, you can take the books to the circulation desk on the first floor.  A Parmly Library staff member will give you a receipt that lists how many paperback, trade and hardback books were in your donation.

Under special circumstances, the Friends may send a volunteer to pick up large donations. Please note that donations for pick up must be packed up in small boxes (no larger than apple crate size) and ready to go. There must be a minimum of three boxes in order to request pick-up.  To request a donation pick-up,  please leave your name and number at Parmly Library (657-8257).
